Our jewellery at Lee Brennan Design is personal and sculpted individually for you. Our work is designed to age with grace and carry not only our makers marks but the marks and scars that represent you as a person and the way you live. Our timeless pieces are intended to become in one with the wearer as they grow in character together. Shine can be restored to your jewellery by using our Lee Brennan Design polishing cloth. Oxidisation will fade over time, this can be delayed by not wearing your pieces in the water or when washing hands and handling chemicals. These patinas can be
re-applied. If a complete restoration is desired, please contact us to discuss cost and options.

Multiple materials are used in our pieces and will be stated clearly in the store specifications.

316 Stainless Steel
Our Steel is harvested from reclaimed materials where ever possible. This is a marine grad Stainless Steel highly resistant to corrosive environments. Stainless Steel is a much harder material than most metals which makes this a long lasting and damage resistant option.

925 Sterling Silver
Our 925 Sterling Silver is of the highest quality. All of our Silver pieces are stamped with the 925 hallmark. Most of our Sterling Silver pieces are oxidised to bring out details in intricate designs. Oxidisation creates a darker metal with blackened details. Like all metals Sterling Silver is susceptible to tarnishing. Polish your Silver jewellery with the Lee Brennan Design polishing cloth. Remove your jewellery before swimming in chlorinated pools and handling chemicals. Store your pieces in the original Lee Brennan Design jewellery pouch or box.

Bronze
Elements of Bronze; an alloy consisting primarily of Copper, commonly with about 12–12.5% Tin and often with the addition of other metals is used in our work. The Bronze component though can organically oxidise over time especially if not worn. This oxidisation can be harnessed for it’s own beauty or re-polished to restore the gold shine. Simply by using the Lee Brennan Design polishing cloth with a standard metal polish will do the job.

22k Yellow Gold Vermeil
Our vermeil is 22k Yellow Gold plated Solid Sterling Silver. We use 22k Yellow Gold which is hard plated at an industrial strength thickness of 3 microns. Special care needs to be taken to ensure your plated pieces last.

To prolong the life of your jewellery we recommend: 
- You protect items from water, saltwater, humidity, steam & chemicals.
- Remove your plated jewellery prior to exercise, showering, swimming and applying lotion, moisturiser or perfume.
- To clean your vermeil pieces, gently buff the surface with our Lee Brennan Design soft cloth. 
- Do not use any metal cleaning or shining products on the GOLD plated piece. 
- Store your piece in your Lee Brennan Design luxury leather pouch or box. 

With wear, gold plating will fade and the silver may start to show through. If you would like your piece re-plated, you can contact us and we can
re-plate for a small fee.

All of our work is individually crafted by hand to order.

We offer FREE STANDARD SHIPPING for all Domestic (Australia wide) orders over $100* . For all International orders, Express shipping cost of A$40 will be charged upon check out.

All domestic shipping is sent via Couriers Please tracked service. International orders are sent via DHL Express international courier.

Lee Brennan Design ship DDU (delivery duties unpaid) which means any duties will be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. Lee Brennan Design unfortunately cannot be held responsible for any possible duties and taxes which may be applied by customs in the country where delivery is made. The responsibility for any custom duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed will rest with the customer. Please contact your local customs offices if you would like to seek more information regarding taxes and duties as these charges vary widely form country to country. Some international orders may be held up in customs, please note we have no control in this situation. We ship using DHL Express international courier with tracking and signature to ensure that international orders are received in a timely manner and goods are received by the customer in their original condition. 

Lee Brennan Design cannot be held responsible once the parcel leaves their care.

Should you be dissatisfied, please contact Lee Brennan Design by email immediately (within 3 days) of receiving your order to discuss your options. Should an exchange or possible return be necessary, the product must be returned in as “new” condition (including all tags and packaging & unopened) within 30 days of the original dispatch date. 


Upon inspection of the returned item, we will gladly issue an online store credit. Postage costs will not be refunded unless the item was in faulty condition. 

Return items that have in any way been damaged or altered from their original state will not be accepted, and will be returned to the customer at their own expense. 

We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection, however are happy to provide an online store credit. if you would like to return a FOUNDRY ONLINE item for an online credit, please email info@leebrennandesign.com within 3 days upon receipt of your purchase. 

In the event of returning or exchanging an item from our FOUNDRY ONLINE COLLECTION, we recommend that you use a postage service that can be tracked. it is the responsibility of the customer that goods arrive to us safely.

As each piece is handcrafted, we suggest allowing at least 3 weeks to manufacture.

Do you work with precious stones?
We unfortunately don’t work with precious stones.

What does oxidised mean?
Oxidising is a heat process used to blacken the Stainless Steel and is a chemical process used to blacken the Silver. This finish does age and wears off with time.

Can I have my ring re-oxidised?
For a small fee, Lee Brennan Design can possibly re-oxidised your jewellery piece. You’ll have to return the piece to Lee Brennan Design, with a prepaid postage bag.

What is Gold Vermeil?
Vermeil (pronounced vehr-may; it's French!) is a legally regulated term that refers to a certain kind of quality jewellery.
To be legally called "vermeil" internationally, the jewellery piece must meet ALL of these conditions:
1. Have Sterling Silver as its base material. Sterling Silver is an alloy made of 92.5% pure Silver and 7.5% other materials, and is a standard material used in high quality jewellery (versus, e.g., Brass or Copper).
2. Be plated in gold that is at least 10k (10 karats). That means the gold is at least 41.7% gold content.
3. Have gold plating that is at least 2.5 microns thick. A micron is 1/1000th of a millimeter.

THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE ORDER IMPLIES THE CUSTOMER’S ACCEPTANCE OF THE SALES CONDITIONS OUTLINED BELOW OR IN THE CASE OF PARTICULAR CONDITIONS GRANTED. THESE PREVAIL OVER ALL OTHER PURCHASE CONDITIONS.

By accepting our Terms and Conditions at the time of purchase you acknowledge that every item is created individually by hand to order, giving each piece it’s own character which may vary slightly from the store imagery. Images are a guide only. You also accept that each handmade order could take up to 3 weeks for production + shipping.

PRICE – All prices are in Australia Dollars and include G.S.T (Goods & Services Tax), per unit. Prices can be modified at any moment due to market price fluctuations or any other reason beyond our control. We offer a currency converter as part of our website. These conversions are based on the exchange rate at time of purchase.

ORDERS - Orders will only be definitive once Lee Brennan Design confirms them. Once confirmed, the buyer cannot cancel or change the order.

DELIVERY- Delivery dates are only indicative.

TERMS
1. All pieces are entirely hand made therefore making each item slightly individual in finish and shape. Maker cannot be held responsible for small discrepancies or differences from store image. Any irregularities in the texture and in the colour hue of the products, oxidization of the pieces resulting from particular process of making, as well as any other traces resulting from handcrafting of the products are intended and must not be considered as a flaw.

2. We offer FREE STANDARD SHIPPING to those orders that are Domestic. Lee Brennan Design pays for the shipping of the goods from the manufacturer to the final destination (domestic). International orders are charged shipping at checkout.  Lee Brennan Design is not responsible for any damages that could be incurred whilst in transit. Lee Brennan Design is not responsible for any late deliveries. Insurance is not included.

3. The communication between the manufacturer and the buyer concerning the order and the shipping of the goods ordered takes place in English language.

4. INFRINGEMENT AND UNFAIR COMPETITION - It is prohibited to the purchaser, under penalty of prosecution, to reproduce in whole or in part, models of products or goods it has purchased or seen. It is also forbidden to pass on to any third party information of the total or partial reproduction of Lee Brennan Design products or goods.

SECTION 4 - SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
